The terms and conditions constitute an agreement between you and SkiMate  . By making purchases from and using the Website as you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.We ask that you carefully read the Terms and Conditions before further use of the Website.

The sales on the Website are aimed at you as a consumer and are not intended to be carried out for commercial use or via commercial activities. If suspicions arise about your purchase being made for commercial use or through commercial activity, SkiMate  reserves the right to stop or cancel your order pending your provision of information proving the opposite.

PERSONAL INFO

When you shop on the Website, We will save some of your personal data so that you can complete your purchase. you have the right to request access to your data and have it removed, or if any information is incorrect, you can have it changed. SkiMate  does not store or process bank or credit card information.

We may also use cookies, for example to improve your experience of this website.

PRICES, FEES AND PAYMENT

When We have received an order from you, We will send a confirmation to your email address. It is therefore important that you enter the correct information when placing an order. We recommend that you save the confirmation to facilitate possible contacts with our customer service. The confirmation also constitutes your receipt that you completed the purchase.

By making a purchase on the Website, you confirm that you have reached the age of 18. We reserve the right in individual cases to refuse or change your order, for example if you have provided incorrect personal data and/or have payment objections.

We accept debit or credit cards such as VISA, Mastercard and other local payment options. Purchase by invoice is administered by Klarna and can only be used by customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. We have the right to charge already in connection with the order, unless invoice payment or another similar payment method has been chosen by you and approved by SkiMate  . In case of invoice payment or partial payment, our partner may make a credit report. In such case, you will be informed about this. SkiMate  reserves the right not to always offer all payment methods, or to change the payment method if the one you have chosen for some reason does not work at the time of purchase. Please note that any restrictions on payment options are indicated on the website. SkiMate  is not responsible for any currency conversion charges that your bank or credit card company may apply when you pay in your country's currency.

Goods sent within the EU are sent according to DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), i.e. customs cleared. This means that all applicable import taxes and customs duties are included in the sales price. If an order is made from a country outside the EU, the prices are exclusive of VAT. Goods sent to countries outside the EU may incur VAT and customs duties when they reach the recipient's country. In these cases, the recipient is responsible for the fees. The VAT will be based on your total order value, regardless of whether your order is covered by a promotion. It should be noted that SkiMate  has no control over these fees and cannot predict the exact amount for each country. If you have questions regarding VAT or customs duties, please contact the Swedish Customs Administration for further information.

PROMOTIONS AND OFFERS

SkiMate  can offer promotions on the Website that have more favorable terms than what appears in these Terms, e.g. discounts or extended right of withdrawal. These more favorable conditions apply as long as the promotion is active for the specific goods indicated. We reserve the right to withdraw such promotions at any time. In the event of termination or cancellation of a campaign, these Terms apply without modification. Offers on specific products on the Website are valid for a limited time.

After a purchase on the Website has been made, SkiMate  will not make any adjustments to the amount you paid, unless you have received the wrong price due to technical problems / errors on the Website.

In the case of "buy one get one free" promotions, you must always make a full repurchase for a refund, which means returning all products obtained during the promotion. If you have participated in a promotion where you received a discount on your purchase because the total amount exceeded a certain amount, your refund will be adjusted according to the terms that applied to the promotion that was the subject of your purchase. SkiMate  discount codes cannot be used in combination with other discounts or offers on the Website unless otherwise specifically stated.

DELIVERY AND CANCELLATION

We deliver our products worldwide and the estimated delivery date depends on the country and the delivery option you choose. Goods that are in stock are normally delivered within the number of working days specified on the website. Unless otherwise specifically agreed, e.g. in connection with the booking of goods that are not in stock.

If you feel that the delivery of an item is unusually delayed, which causes you to no longer want to complete the purchase, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. Then you should contact SkiMate  customer service, a cancellation is not valid until a confirmation has been received from us. In case your order has already been processed by SkiMate  , you must accept the order. This does not limit your right to cancel.

If a product is no longer sold, SkiMate  has the right to cancel the purchase and issue a refund. We will notify the consumer if there is a corresponding product available. SkiMate's  liability for errors in connection with delivery is limited in accordance with the applicable delivery conditions for the current delivery and what follows from these conditions.

If the order is delivered to a collection point and you do not collect the package in time, We reserve the right to charge a fee to cover any additional costs. If your product has been damaged during transport, you must notify SkiMate  customer service as soon as possible.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

You are entitled to a full refund for your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order by returning your product. The product must be returned in new condition and in its original packaging. You have the right to carefully open the packaging to inspect the product. If the product and/or packaging should have been damaged as a result of handling that is not justified by customary examination, We have the right to charge for the reduction in value that has occurred. Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for any other item. A lost Gift Card cannot be replaced. Returns cannot be made in a local store. 

Note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been manufactured according to the consumer's instructions or that have otherwise received a clear personal touch (e.g. products with customized printing such as Personalization) nor to products that cannot be returned due to health or hygiene reasons (e.g. Face masks).

Keep in mind that if you have chosen to pay by invoice, the 14 days on the invoice begin to run from the day the package is sent from us. You are liable for payment during the entire return process.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal by filling in the standard form that can be downloaded from the Swedish Consumer Agency's website (https://publikationer.konsumentverket.se/kontrakt-och-mallar/angerblankett) and then sending it to us by letter by post or by E-mail. You can find our contact information at the bottom of this page under the section "Company information".

We will refund the amount as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days from the date We received your message. However, SkiMate  can wait with the refund until We have received the item or you have shown that the item has been sent back, e.g. through a submission receipt. The refund will be made to you via the payment option you chose when you made your purchase, unless otherwise agreed or deemed necessary. Please note that you pay shipping for your return package.

DISCLAIMER

SkiMate  reserves itself for final sales and any image and writing errors on the Website, for example errors in product description or technical specification, incorrect prices, incorrect discount codes, as well as price adjustments (such as changed prices from suppliers or currency changes) or incorrect information regarding whether an item is in stock. SkiMate  has the right to correct any such errors and to change or update the information at any time. If an incorrect price has been entered for an item that you have ordered, we will cancel the order and of course notify you.

All image information on the Website must be viewed exclusively as illustrations. Such illustrations cannot be guaranteed to represent the goods you receive or the exact appearance, functions or origin of the goods.

The website, as well as all content on it, is owned by SkiMate  or its licensors. The information is protected by, among other things, intellectual property and market laws. This means that trademarks, company names, product names, images and graphics, design, layout and information about goods, services and other content may not be copied or used without written approval from SkiMate  .

SkiMate  is not responsible for damage to other items caused by your use of the purchased products or loss to you caused by the same provided that your use has been made in accordance with applicable user instructions and with proper care.

Our liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with your order on the Website is limited to the total amount of your order. SkiMate  has no responsibility for indirect losses.

USER-GENERATED CONTENT

We love to see you wearing SkiMate  products and your personal style and would love to share your image as inspiration. Your image (or images) will then be shared on our channel and on the relevant product page on our website. In some cases, images can also be published in other social media such as Instagram or Facebook or in our newsletters or stores.

You grant SkiMate  a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and worldwide license to use images to which you have responded with Yes, I agree (the “image” or “images”) in our marketing and/or advertising. This includes, but is not limited to, images on our website, newsletters, social media, catalogs, emails, retailer stores (such as Amazon), brick-and-mortar stores, and other communications with customers.

You confirm and warrant that you own all rights to the image or images, that you have permission from the persons in the image to use the image or images and that you agree that the image or images are used in accordance with these terms and that SkiMate's use of the image or images does not  violate third party rights or any law.

You release SkiMate  from any obligation to compensate you for the right to or use of the image or images and from the intellectual property rights that the above use entails.

OWNERSHIP

All products sold through the Website remain the property of SkiMate  until full payment has been received. Any attempted fraud will be reported to the authorities. SkiMate  reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of war, war-like event, civil war, revolution, insurrection, government action, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster, pandemic or similar event, technical problems, failure of electrical/telecommunications/data connections or other communications and failure or delay in services from a subcontractor due to a circumstance stated here, SkiMate  is free from liability in the event that due to such circumstances we are unable to perform what was agreed between you and us due to your purchase. These circumstances shall constitute a basis for exemption which entails exemption from damages and other penalties. If this occurs, We will try to notify you as soon as possible. In the event of a dispute, We will of course follow the decision of the General Complaints Board.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

Swedish law is applicable to these Terms and your use of this Website. To the extent permitted by law, a Swedish court shall have exclusive jurisdiction with regard to disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Website, with the exception of cases where SkiMate itself chooses to take legal action against a consumer where it is domiciled  .

If any provision of these Terms should be found to be invalid or not applicable, in whole or in part, then the provision in question shall be applicable to the extent permitted by applicable law. The remaining provisions in these Terms and Conditions shall apply and have full effect and shall not be affected by the above in any way.

SkiMate  reserves the right to make changes to these Terms at any time. Any changes to these Terms will be published on the Website. Changes apply from the time they are listed on the Home page.
